In general, follow your OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines.

It is recommended to check a coolant system at least thrice a year or 10,000 kilometers. If the coolant is dirty, cloudy, or full of particulate, then the coolant system should be drained, flushed, cleaned, and refilled with a fresh coolant. Also, the reason for the bad condition of the coolant should be determined.

Before mixing coolant it is necessary to check the compatibility of both the coolant. If the coolants are not compatible, they result in chemical instability which will affects the performance of the coolant and may corrode the engine coolant system.

IAT – Inorganic Acid Technology.

The Coolant can be classified into any of these categories based on additives used.

Antifreeze Coolant can be used in sub zero temperatures whereas summer coolants cannot be used in sub zero cold conditions.

Ingestion of Coolant should not happen under any circumstances. Avoid contact with skin, eyes. In case of contact, wash with water and soap. Do not swallow and if swallowed consult the doctor immediately.

Cutting Oil should be generally diluted as provided by the manufacturer based on application however it is recommended to use a ratio of 4 to 6 %.

Use the cutting oil that excellent foam suppressing properties or add a foam suppression agent.

Oil should be poured gradually in the water in defined ratio. This mixture should be continuously stirred until uniform solution is formed.
